Angeline Katherine (Cannuli) Manzi

Our dear, strong, and determined mother Angeline (Angie) K. Manzi sadly passed away on May 27, 2023, the very day of her 88th birthday. She was a courageous mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was always there when needed by all members of her family. 

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph L. Manzi, her parents Anthony and Anna Cannuli, parents-in-law Joseph Manzi and Ethel (Uzupan) Manzi Lemesevski and William Lemesevski, and daughter-in-law Giuliana Capati.  She is survived by her daughter Kimberlee (Kim) Manzi, son Kevin (Barbara), grandson Christopher (Sarah Ann), twin great granddaughters Josephine and Rose Manzi, brother Anthony Cannuli, Jr.  (Dorothy), as well as many nieces, nephews, and close cousins.  She also leaves behind a wonderful group of close friends from her community on Long Beach Island, NJ.

In her earlier years Angie was a 5th grade teacher then overseeing the Title I Reading Program in Burlington City for many years before moving to the New Jersey State Department of Education monitoring the school districts throughout the state.  Angie was a longtime member of the Brant Beach Yacht Club and was very active in her retirement with the Italian and Garden Clubs. She loved going out to eat with family and friends.

A viewing for Angie will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington, NJ 08016 on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul’s R.C. Church (St. Katharine Drexel Parish) 223 E. Union Street, Burlington, NJ 08016 at 11am Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Jacksonville Road, Burlington, NJ 08016.
