Dennis J. Olaff, 49, passed away on May 14, 2023, in the loving presence of his family. He was a lifelong resident of Florence and loving father. Dennis found joy in watching the Eagles alongside his beloved daughter, Hannah, and they often bonded over their shared passion for drawing. Baseball held a special place in his heart, and he cherished moments spent with his son, Ryan, whether coaching Florence Little League or supporting various travel teams. Known as a jack of all trades, Dennis was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Dennis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene and Doris Olaff, as well as Pete and Ruby Benvenuto, and his father, Gary Olaff. Left to cherish his memory are his cherished children, Hannah and Ryan Olaff, his ex-wife and friend Chris and his mother, Pam (Doug). He is also survived by his sisters, Heather (Gary), Tanya (Mike), Jessica (Chris), and Jen, who will fondly remember the bond they shared. Dennis's loyal companion, his beloved dog Raven Luna, feels the profound loss of his presence.
