John Carter Obituary

John R. Carter of Burlington Twp, passed away Wednesday March 31, 2021 at Virtua Lourdes Hospital Camden at the age of 70. Born in Tuscaloosa, AL, John was a longtime Burlington resident. He was a graduate of the Rutgers School of Law and was a practicing attorney in Burlington, Camden and Mercer Counties. He also served for six years in the Army National Guard from 1971 to 1977. John is survived by his siblings; Roxane (Bob) Shinn, Susan Carter, Carol (John) LaCava and James (Gina) Carter. He is also survived by many well loved nieces and nephews; Lindsey, Corbett, Max, Alex, Joe, Carter, Chris and Sam as well as two great nephews, Teddy and Abe. A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Page Funeral Home, Burlington.
