Katherine Valosen

Katherine Valosen of Burlington passed away Wednesday November 17, 2021 at Laurel Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Mt. Laurel at the age of 93.  Born in Burlington to the late Charles and Agnes (nee Kola) Woloszyn, Katherine remained a lifelong resident.  She lived for many years with her brother Joseph, with whom she was very close.  She worked as a seamstress in Burlington for many years until her retirement.  Katherine enjoyed cooking, particularly Polish food and split pea soup, which was a specialty of hers.  She loved being outdoors and enjoying nature.  She also loved doing crossword puzzles, knitting and watching her nightly game shows on television.  Katherine is survived by her nieces and nephews: James P. Angelini, Lois Tighe, Chet Valosen and Virginia Pfister.  She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and cousins.  A viewing for Katherine will be held Monday November 22nd from 10-11am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington.  Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rt. 130 and Beverly Rd., Burlington.  Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family through www.pagefuneralhome.com.
