Lois M. Ball

Lois M. Ball (nee Wood) of Burlington City passed away at her residence on Tuesday February 16, 2021 at the age of 95.  Born in Florence, on December 24, 1925 to the late Harry and Elmira (nee Allen) Wood, Lois was a longtime Burlington resident.  She worked for Joseph Titone in Burlington Twp. for many years.  She enjoyed her home, family and numerous friends, particularly family gatherings where there was always good food and fun conversations.  She was the wife of 69 years to the late Wilbur Ball, who predeceased her in 2017.  She is survived by her cherished daughter Nancy Ball and was the loving aunt to Shirley King (Hank), Bonnie Carluccio (Joseph), Ralph Wood, Robert Windstein, the late George Wood, Jeffrey Wood (Lynn), Steven Wood (Morgan), and Lynn Rockhill (Steven).  She was a special great aunt to Jennifer, great-great aunt to Adrienne, Alivia and great-great-great aunt to Violette.  She is also survived by many other family and friends.  The family would like to thank the officers and members of the Endeavor Emergency Squad in Burlington, where Wilbur was an honored life member of 64 years for their caring professionalism and friendship.  They would also like to thank the following for their excellent care and compassion; Dr. Tatyanna Aliferova and staff (Donna and Ginny), Dr. Vincent Spagnuolo of Virtua Cardiology, Dr. Elliott Suchin Kidney Care, the Virtua Willingboro ICU nurses and doctors for making it possible for Lois to return to her home and Virtua Home Care.  A walk through viewing for Lois will be held Saturday February 27, 2021 from 9:30-10:30am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington.  Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 10:30.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park, Rt. 130 Cinnaminson.  Facial covering and social distancing will be required for all events.  In lieu of flowers, Nancy requests donations be made in Lois’ memory to either the Endeavor Emergency Squad, 1309 Rancocas Rd., Burlington, NJ 08016 or Samaritan Hospice at the Samaritan Gift Processing Center, PO Box 71425, Philadelphia, PA 19176-1425.
