Martha Phillips

We are sad to announce the passing of our mother, Martha Phillips. Martha passed away the morning of November 12, 2021. 

Martha was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Martha was hard-working, who attended college at night while working to take care of her family. Her career spans three decades of working for the State of New Jersey, the Department of Human Services and the Division of Youth and Family Services. One of her favorite past-times is gardening, you always find her in the backyard planting or on her computer playing solitaire. Martha has always enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Martha is survived by a sister Dorothy Brown. Sisters Catherine Williams, Geneva Williams, Rose Nichols; brothers Quintin Phillips, Herman Phillips and Jerry Phillips all preceded her in death.

Three daughters: Stephanie McNair of Phoenix, AZ, Candie Burns of New Jersey, Felicia Turner of Willingboro, NJ and a son Neil-Archie McNair of New Jersey; 7 grandchildren: Mrs. Lanasa and Mark Jimenez of Lumberton, NJ, Lanesa Mack of Phoenix, AZ, Laniya Mack of Phoenix, AZ, Shawn Isaiah Turner of Paterson, NJ, Tommy Greene, Jr., of Willingboro, NJ, Amber Burns of Philadelphia, PA and Aliyah Burns of NJ; Four great-grandchildren: Savion Jimenez, Jordan Jimenez, both of Lumberton, NJ, Naseen Miller, Naim Miller both of Phoenix, AZ and lots of nieces, nephews and cousins survive to cherish her memory.

A visitation will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington, on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 3-330 pm when a funeral service will begin.
