Peter R Ekelburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 18, 2021. A 1998 graduate of Burlington City High School, Pete became an electrical apprentice, followed by a Fuel manager at Wawa, to transition into a Grainger employee where he obtained a Pie Operators License and various equipment certifications. In his spare time he would enjoy collecting Comic - Con memorabilia, watching movies, computer gaming, cooking a feast for family & coworkers, attending sports games & beer fests with friends. Pete was known for wearing his Viking Hat and he always stood out in a crowd. Pete was predeceased by his mother, Hazel Walter, his grandparents, Robert & Dorothy Ekelburg and Lois Walter as well as his best buddy, Nathan Roach. Pete is survived by his father, Robert & Kim Ekelburg, siblings Danyell , Rob(Sam Wilson), Amanda and Ryan Ekelburg, his nieces Madelyn and Peyton Carey, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. A viewing for Pete will be held Monday, November 29th from 9-11am at the Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington. Funeral services will begin at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rt. 130 and Beverly Rd., Burlington Twp. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, online at www.cancer.org.
