Richard J. VanHise, Jr.

Richard Jerome VanHise, Jr. of Burlington, passed away on Saturday at the age of 49. Rich was born in Riverside and loved his country music and doing carpentry work. He excelled in making wooden crosses. The Bible was his best friend and he traveled from the East to West Preaching the teachings from the Bible. He is survived by his wife  Nicole Krehl, his father Richard J. VanHise, Sr.,(Patricia), his mother Janet Brown-Brooks, his children: Jacob, Rebecca, Richard, III, a granddaughter Gianna, a sister Catherine Pierson and several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington on Monday, April 11, 2022 from 2-3pm. A funeral service will begin at 3pm.
